FEMA Disaster Assistance Team in Kenai Peninsula for Two Weeks

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – A FEMA disaster survivor assistance team is available for the next two weeks in Kenai Peninsula Borough to help residents who were affected by the November 30th earthquake apply for disaster assistance and get advice on appealing eligibility decisions.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency team can also answer questions about the status of an applicant’s registration.

Beginning February 21st for the next two weeks, FEMA’s disaster survivor assistance team is based at:

The North Peninsula Recreation Center

Nikiski, AK 99611

Hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. No hours are scheduled Sunday.

Alaskans have until February 28th to apply for the Alaska Individual Assistance program online at or call 855-445-7131.

The deadline to apply for federal assistance is April 1. Here are additional ways to apply with FEMA:
